:: Oh No Ono ::
14 January 2008 / No Label Required / Morningside Records / 11 Trk CD

Curiously Danish and with all sorts of vocal styles at their disposal, Oh No Ono seem gloriously stuck in the 80’s when it comes to their electronic drum sounds and keyboards. “The Shock of the Real” is a kind of weird mix of Scissor Sisters and Go West but it’s the twist of the They Might Be Giants fuelled “Bab Ba Baba Ba Ba Well Anyway” that really strikes home. Oh No Ono have a very distinctive sound and most probably it's the craziest one you’ll ever fall in love with.
