:: Black Black ::
21 January 2008 / Demo / 3 Trk CD
By Manuel Ecostos

Londonís Black Black are a band in love with their brooding sound effects, pummelling bass lines and stretched out guitar notes. Refreshingly though, they combine the stadium bound darkness of 80ís goth with a thoroughly progressive mixture of stop / start passages and searching hooklines. They sidestep any comparisons to the current scene of lazy facsimiled pop versions of Joy Division and create a uniquely odd, but intelligent melee of what sounds like an early Barrett era Pink Floyd messing around with The Chameleons.
